May 24, 2011We were foraging through the archives today and came across some great mens vintage prints that we LOVE!
Vintage always had a great warmth about it which is nice in the colder months.
We are loving the layering effect when clashing the prints together and bringing the prints into womenswear.
Take inspiration form old shirts and vintage ties and scarfs.

Chloe through the ages…
May 12, 2011Chloe as a label has always been setting trends… It has also had the most IT designers of any other brand we can think of.
Chloe was the first brand to truly become aware of the raising demand for collections to merge couture and ready-to-wear.
We take a deeper look into one of our all time favourite fashion houses and the many famous designers it’s had and some of our favourite prints.
1952- Chloé is founded by Gaby Aghion, a Parisian of Egyptian origin.
1966. Karl Lagerfeld is the main designer and Chloé becomes one of the symbolic brands of the 70′s.
1997. Stella McCartney brings in a new direction, feminine, romantic and mischievous.
2001. Pheobe Philo lends a helping hand and brings a new perspective to the label, she seems to know exactly what the customers want before they know it themselves.
2002. Chloé launches a line of bags, small leather goods and shoes. The Paddington bag will become the first of the ‘it-bags’.
2006. Paulo Melim Andersson brings in a staggered and modern style.
2008. Hannah MacGibbon is named artistic director.
2011. Clare Waight Keller moves from Pringle to Chloe. And we can’t wait to see what direction she will take the brand.
